The Great Fish Community Challenge is On!
It’s Donation Season with the advent of the 2023 Great Fish Community Challenge! Flathead Land Trust is so honored and grateful to have been chosen to take part once again this year. We are one of 78 nonprofits served by this amazing campaign in 2023.
The first $40,000 we raise through The Great Fish Community Challenge will go towards the Owen Sowerwine Project.
We still have a funding gap to fill before we are able to purchase the conservation easement on Owen Sowerwine! We have obtained the final appraisal for the value of a purchased conservation easement on Owen Sowerwine and, due to land values increasing since the preliminary valuation for the project, the value of a purchased conservation easement has increased. Thus, we still need about $175,000 to complete the project.
We do have more grant applications in the works but continue to need your help as well. So if you have not donated yet, or if you want to add to your donation, there is still time and need! You can help us narrow this funding gap by donating through Whitefish Community Foundation’s Great Fish Community Challenge between AUGUST 10 and SEPTEMBER 15.
