The newly minted State Park at Somers Beach is open to the public, and we would like to celebrate with the many people who helped bring it to fruition. We are so proud to have helped the initial phase of this project take place, with great generosity on the part of the original landowners, the Sliter family, and in collaboration with our partners.
Please join us for a public celebration of Somers Beach State Park on Saturday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. Together with our partners, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, who now own and manage the park, the Flathead Lakers and Montana State Parks Foundation, we are hosting a small gathering at the park with light refreshments, speakers and a tour.
