Challenge Match Campaign for Owen Sowerwine Begins April 1

Working toward purchasing a conservation easement on Owen Sowerwine is Flathead Land Trust’s premiere project of 2023. This step is crucial in safeguarding the extraordinary natural habitat, critical landscape connectivity and public access to the site, while also securing long-term funding for Montana K-12 schools.

Now is a great time to donate to this worthy cause, during our matching challenge! Beginning on April 1, Flathead Land Trust, Flathead Audubon and Flathead Lakers will be initiating our community-wide Challenge Match Campaign. We aim to raise another $100,000 in local funding for Owen Sowerwine to match $100,000 in donations and pledges recently made to our three organizations for the campaign.

More than half of the $775,000 needed for this incredible project has been raised or pledged, but your donation now is critical to help us reach our goal!
